American Wine Society    Metro Detroit Chapter

The Detroit Chapter is made up of friendly folks who enjoy food and wine. This chapter conducts a wine tasting almost every month. In the summer there may be a trip to a nearby wine region, a local restaurant or a member appreciation dinner.

It is a great place to learn about wine for the inexperienced, and a forum for the experts to share knowledge with others. There is always something new for everyone.

Wine Tastings are held at a variety of locations in the metropolitan region. A typical tasting will begin with a brief social period and an aperitif. Then an expert will introduce each of 6 wines. Breads and cheeses are served with the wines. 

Our wine tastings are not open to the general public. However, we welcome new prospective members. Anyone who is interested in learning more about us may attend a few of our meetings as a guest by contacting us.
